RAF Shawbury Helicopter visit
A helicopter from No1 Flying Training School at RAF Shawbury visited Wrekin to allow pupils to gain an understanding of what a career in aviation really feels like. The aircraft was flown in by three current parents who are instructors serving at the Flying Training School. Pupils from the CCF had the opportunity to look around and inside the aircraft before the crew gave a presentation to all pupils, giving an insight on careers in military aviation.
