Reception Class Assembly
Last week, our Reception pupils took their turn in performing in their class assembly to reflect on their first year at Old Hall. With “journey” as their theme, they shared stories of their learning and discovery across lots of exciting topics. All of our Reception pupils put together a very warming and inspiring display of how much they have grown and developed their skills this year. The pupils recreated their ‘Journey Day’ from earlier in the term to share with parents and teachers. The class took a very ambitious flight path calling at Paris, Dubai, Mauritius and Greece, to name a few. Our pupils were very competent passengers and demonstrated their know-how in a smooth run through of passport and luggage checks before boarding Old Hall airlines.
Through songs, smiles and lots of confident speaking, we were all reminded how special this stage of learning is. We are so excited to see where Year 1 takes each of you in September.
