Remembrance Art

As we approach Remembrance Day, pupils across

Prep have been exploring the theme of remembrance through a range of creative art projects.

Each year group has taken a different approach, experimenting with materials and techniques to create their own thoughtful interpretations.

Year 3 made three-dimensional poppies using tissue paper and pen, while Year 4 explored pointillism to create poppy artwork through carefully placed dots. Year 5 experimented with printmaking, producing their own poppy prints, and Year 6 created painted soldier silhouettes, using shape and contrast to bring their compositions to life.

It has been lovely to see the range of creativity and artistic techniques across the year groups, with each project offering a meaningful way to reflect on Remembrance.
