Senior House Debating Competition - so far!

We have had the first two rounds of the Senior House Debating Competition so far.

Kicking off proceedings in the first round were Tudor against Bayley, and Clarkson taking on York. Both made compelling arguments for and against breakdancing being part of the Olympics. It was a brilliant topical debate. The winners were Bayley and Clarkson respectively.

The second round saw Bayley face Clarkson and York take on Roslyn. The motion was 'This House Believes Vaccinations Should Be Mandatory For Children and Young People.' We saw some fantastic debating from the houses, with a great range of questions from the floor. Bayley built on their win in the first round claiming a second victory, and York triumphed over Roslyn.

The competition is still wide open as we have three rounds still to take place before the final.
