Sixth Form Artists Discover the Magic of Venice
Immersive tour explores art, architecture, and culture in the iconic floating city.
This year’s Art Tour took our Sixth Form artists and designers on an inspiring journey through the enchanting city of Venice. Students explored world-famous landmarks such as San Marco Basilica and the Frari Church, gaining insight into centuries of artistic and architectural heritage. Highlights included a visit to the Peggy Guggenheim Art Gallery, where modern masterpieces sparked creative inspiration, and attendance at the International Architecture Biennale, offering a glimpse into cutting-edge design and innovation.
The tour provided a brilliant opportunity for Wrekinians to fully experience Venice’s unique blend of art, architecture, culture, and cuisine, enriching their understanding and appreciation of this extraordinary city.
