Sport at Wrekin
Wednesday 12th March saw over 250 Wrekinians take part in fixtures either at home or away across ten sports. Over 25 coaching staff were involved and many of our elite sports people represented Wrekin on the pitches, including players who represent at national and county level.
Notable highlights from the afternoon are:
- 2nd in the Attingham Park Spring Relays out of 10 different schools.
- U16 Boys Rugby County 7's CHAMPIONS
- U18 Boys Rugby County 7's RUNNERS UP
- Netball winning their 5 matches
- U13 Boys Telford and Wrekin School Swimming WINNERS
- U13 Girls Telford and Wrekin School Swimming RUNNERS UP
- Hockey - 1st XI 4-0 WIN vs NULS
- Football - U15 6-2 WIN vs Ellesmere College and 1st XI 2-1 WIN vs Ellesmere College
