Rugby, netball and skill development mark a positive start to the Lent term
Despite challenging weather conditions and some fixture cancellations last week due to the weather, Wrekin Prep pupils have made a positive start to the Lent term sports programme. This week saw rugby and netball fixtures take place against Prestfelde, giving pupils the opportunity to demonstrate their developing skills, teamwork and determination, with some well-deserved successes along the way.
In addition, Year 1 pupils have been enthusiastically developing their throwing and aiming skills in netball lessons. Through a range of engaging activities, pupils showed excellent teamwork, confidence and encouragement for one another. It has been wonderful to see their enjoyment and progress as they build strong foundations for future sporting success.
