Sport Round-up
It has been an action-packed two weeks of sport at Wrekin Prep. Our Under 10 and Under 11 rugby teams have enjoyed an exciting afternoon of matches against Prestfelde, demonstrating real determination, positive running, and committed tackling across all games. A special mention goes to Mr Williams, who thoroughly enjoyed refereeing a competitive Under 10 match.
Elsewhere, Years 3 and 4 participated in an energetic tag rugby session, showcasing excellent passing, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our Year 1 pupils also had a fantastic time developing their coordination and confidence during a fun pickleball session.
We also travelled to Birchfield with three Under 9 football teams, and what a performance it was! The boys were clinical in front of goal, scoring several impressive strikes, while the defence and goalkeeping were excellent, producing multiple clean sheets and strong team performances overall.
