Golf
Congratulations to the pupils who played against Repton in the first round of the Independent Schools Golf competition. Well done to Jack and Arthur who won their matches, and a great effort from Alex who played very well but unfortunately couldn’t get over the line. They now face Ellesmere in the next round.

The Volleyball team got off to a winning start for this season with a nail-biting 3-2 victory over local rivals TCAT. The team were magnificent throughout. Well done to everyone involved.

On Saturday, the Under 14s, Under 13s and Under 12s had fixtures against Ellesmere College. The Under 12s played some excellent hockey coming away 3-0 winners, the pick of the players being Eira. In Boys' Hockey this week the Under 18 Boys and Staff team who compete in the Saturday men's league ran away 5-1 victors against Old Wulfs Hockey Club. The Under 14 team started their county cup campaign vs Church Stretton winning 24-12. A great team effort. There were lots of highlights from the game, and a good grounding for Saturday where we recorded a 36-17 vs St Joseph's. A fine squad performance with 23 boys involved, with the ever improving Under 14s rounding off a good half term.
