Athletics
Last week, four Wrekin athletics teams took part in the Shropshire Knockout Cup Final at Oakengates. The Lancaster Girls team finished in a creditable 3rd place. Then on Saturday, several athletes represented Shropshire in the Mason Trophy at Stoke. Sydney now ranks 3rd and 4th in the West Midlands for Hurdles and High Jump.
Cricket
Another busy week of cricket at Wrekin. On Wednesday, the 1st XI had a a close game against Staffordshire gentleman, with Toby the top scorer with 78. The U15 & U14 boys both won their matches. The U17 girls and U14 girls lost out in their games.
On Saturday the U13 girls had a comprehensive win against Oswestry. This coming week, we have another full week of matches, including the prestigious Prep Schools Tournament.
