The Great Banana Relay
Both Upper and Lower School children in our Shropshire Independent School took part in the 'Great Banana Relay' today to raise awareness for the work of the Fairtrade Foundation around the world. Children raced to pass the banana between them in the fastest time possible.
We also raised money through a 'wear something bright' mufti-day and enjoyed some Fairtrade snacks at lunchtime. Well done everyone and thank you for working so hard to promote the Fairtrade values and support Fairtrade Fortnight.
Supporting charities and helping communities is an important part of Old Hall life, as it helps raise awareness and encourages pupils to look at how they can make a difference both in and out of school.
