University of Oxford Offers
Wrekin is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of two students who have received offers from the University of Oxford this year.
Kirsty has been offered a place at Balliol College, Oxford, to read Medicine. Balliol College is internationally recognised for its academic excellence and has educated four British Prime Ministers. Kirsty’s success reflects her outstanding academic ability, dedication, and commitment to her chosen field.
Lewis has received an offer from Jesus College, Oxford, to read English and French. With distinguished alumni including T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) and former Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Jesus College has a long tradition of intellectual and cultural distinction. Lewis’s achievement is a testament to his academic strengths and passion for languages and literature.
The College congratulates Kirsty and Lewis on these remarkable accomplishments and wishes them, together with all members of the Upper Sixth, every success as they progress to the next stage of their education. Their achievements, alongside those of many other Wrekin students who have already secured university or apprenticeship offers, underline Wrekin’s commitment to nurturing confident, articulate, and well-rounded young people who perform with distinction throughout the application and interview process.
