Well Done to...
There have been lots of individual co-curricular achievements this half term, and we recognise the efforts of all pupils, whatever their level, for participating.
Pupil Mabelle finished 11th in Great Britain at the Gymnastics British Championships. A remarkable achievement following on from her success in the English National Championships. The results show Mabelle's high level of commitment and determination.
Pupil James has had a brilliant start this season in cycling, he came 12th overall after four races and 55 riders. James raced incredibly well and came fifth out of the strongest in the country.
Wrekin pupils Herbie and Noah represented their Hockey clubs in the England Hockey National Leagues. Fifth Form pupil Herbie continued to represent the University of Birmingham 2nd XI, while Fourth Form pupil Noah received his National League debut for Barford Tigers 1st XI. Both were playing in the National Men’s Conference Midlands league, which is a fantastic achievement for both young players who have very bright futures ahead of them in the Hockey world.
In dance, pupil Tracy is having great success. She competed in Audacity Ultimate Dancing competition and came 1st in Under 18 solo category, as well as winning with her team in the group category..
