Wrekin Prep Launch
Exciting New Chapter: Wrekin Prep Officially Opens Its Doors
We were delighted to celebrate the official opening of Wrekin Prep last Friday!
The afternoon was filled with a vibrant sense of community, starting with a spirited House tug of war competition among the pupils. Parents and special guests then joined us and were treated to a wonderful whole school song, especially penned for the event, to start the celebrations in style!
Families were invited to explore the school’s archives, which offered a fascinating insight into the history of Old Hall, featuring photographs spanning from the turn of the 20th century to more recent years.
There was then a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by our current Head, Alison Hartland-Griffiths, who warmly welcomed the school community to Wrekin Prep. Alison was joined by Craig Williams, who will assume the role of Head in the Lent term, sharing in the excitement and anticipation for the school’s future.
This was followed by an afternoon of fun with games and refreshments for all.
It was a truly memorable day, reflecting the energy, enthusiasm, and warmth of the Wrekin Prep community. We look forward with great excitement to the school’s journey ahead as we begin a new chapter in our long and proud history!
