Wrekin Prep Launch
Exciting New Chapter: Wrekin Prep Officially Opens Its Doors
We are delighted to celebrate the official opening of Wrekin Prep, following the recent rebrand that has strengthened the alignment between Wrekin Prep and Wrekin College under the same trust. This marks an exciting new chapter in the growth of our educational community, and we are thrilled about the opportunities and experiences this development will bring to our pupils, families, and staff.
The launch celebrations took place on Friday afternoon, beginning with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by our current Head, Alison Hartland-Griffiths, who warmly welcomed the school community to Wrekin Prep. Alison was joined by Craig Williams, who will assume the role of Head in the Spring term, sharing in the excitement and anticipation for the school’s future.
The afternoon was filled with a vibrant sense of community, starting with a spirited tug of war among pupils, followed by a variety of games and refreshments, including delicious cakes enjoyed by all. Families were also invited to explore the school’s archives, which offered a fascinating insight into the history of Old Hall, featuring photographs spanning from the turn of the 20th century to more recent years.
We would also like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to Clare Hendy and the marketing team, whose vision and dedication made the rebrand possible and helped bring this exciting launch to life.
It was a truly memorable day, reflecting the energy, enthusiasm, and warmth of the Wrekin Prep community. We look forward with great excitement to the school’s journey ahead and to the positive impact it will continue to have on the education and development of our pupils.
