Wrekin Prep Rolls Out the Red Carpet for 'What is Dyslexia?'
Wrekin Prep enjoyed its own red-carpet premiere with a special screening of 'What is Dyslexia?', a film by the charity Made By Dyslexia, which celebrates different ways of thinking and highlights the importance of understanding dyslexia.
Pupils embraced the occasion, enjoying their red-carpet moment, popcorn and the opportunity to watch a film with an important message.
We were also delighted to welcome Old Wrekinian Henni Grainger, who now works for Made By Dyslexia. Having attended the film's London premiere earlier this year, Henni was pleased to see the screening brought to Wrekin Prep, giving pupils the chance to experience it for themselves.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate different ways of thinking and continue the conversation around dyslexia.
