Wrekin Prep Sports Round-Up
It's been a busy two weeks of sport at Wrekin Prep.
Hockey
The Under 11 and Under 10 Girls faced Winterfold in two closely fought matches. Both teams played superbly, showing determination and great teamwork to secure two well-deserved wins.
Wrekin Prep also welcomed Ellesmere College for another fantastic afternoon of hockey. The Under 11 match was a real nail-biter, with both sides displaying excellent skill and commitment, finishing in a well-earned draw. The Under 10 team delivered a confident and composed performance, working brilliantly together to achieve a convincing victory.
Netball
A special mention to the Under 11 Girls, who also enjoyed a brilliant afternoon at Wrekin Senior competing against the First Form and Birchfield’s Under 12 side. Well done to all players for their effort, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm.
Football
The Under 11 A team showed tremendous grit and character. After going 1–0 down at half time, they came back full of determination in the second half, turning the game around to claim a fantastic 3–1 victory. The Under 11 B team were equally impressive; scoring plenty of goals while demonstrating excellent passing, teamwork and energy throughout the match.
