A special visit from Mrs Clark brings the past to life
To round off their topic on Childhood and the 1950s, Year 1 were delighted to welcome Mrs Clark, who shared her memories of growing up during that decade. She brought along fascinating photographs and her beautiful doll collection, which included an original Barbie doll.
The children loved hearing her stories and seeing the toys and treasures from Mrs Clark's childhood. It was a wonderful way for Year 1 to bring history to life and to see how childhood has changed over time.
