Year 2 Flower Sculptures

Year 2 has been getting creative with clay and making beautiful sculptures of flowers! As part of their learning, the children studied flowers and their parts in science, then used their knowledge of science in art to design their own clay creations.

They explored form, colour, shape and texture to bring their flowers to life, carefully shaping and adding details to make each sculpture unique.
