Year 5 Residential at Hollowford Castle

Our Year 5 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting residential trip to Hollowford Centre, where they took part in a fantastic range of outdoor and adventure activities.

Throughout the week, pupils challenged themselves in caving sessions, explored their creativity and teamwork skills through raft building, and showed real courage during abseiling and rock climbing activities. Bushcraft sessions gave them the chance to learn practical outdoor skills, while an adventurous hill trek tested their stamina and determination in the beautiful surrounding landscape.

It was wonderful to see pupils supporting one another, trying new things and growing in confidence with each challenge they faced. The residential provided a brilliant opportunity to build resilience, independence and teamwork in a memorable and inspiring setting.

A huge well done to Year 5 for their enthusiasm and positive attitude throughout the trip, and thank you to staff for making it such a successful experience.
