Year 5 Travel Back to Tudor Times
Class 5W took us on a trip back in time with their Tudor-themed assembly, sharing their learning about the Tudor monarchs in true Horrible Histories style!
From the entertainment enjoyed during the Tudor period to the famous figures who helped shape England, pupils explored this fascinating chapter of history, bringing their knowledge to life with plenty of humour and some of the era’s grisly details.
Of course, no Tudor assembly would be complete without Henry VIII and his famously complicated love life. Pupils delved into the stories behind his six wives, discovering how his search for a male heir helped shape the course of English history.
