Year 5 trip to Harvington Hall

As part of their project "Off With Her Head!", Year 5 visited Harvington Hall in Worcestershire, a Tudor house full of secrets and history.

The children got the opportunity to become experimental archaeologists, as they learnt about life as Tudor children and completed activities including Tudor dancing, board games, archery and even sitting at a Tudor board feast! They were also able to explore the house and hide in the priest holes, which were used to conceal the Catholic priests during Queen Elizabeth's reign. It was a fantastic visit!
