Year 6 Residential to Plas Menai – A Fitting Final Adventure
Our Year 6 pupils had an unforgettable residential trip to Plas Menai, marking their final Wrekin Prep residential experience.
Set in the stunning surroundings of North Wales, the week was packed with exciting challenges and opportunities. Pupils threw themselves into a wide range of activities, including canoeing on the water (jumping in to test their confidence!), exploring underground tunnels during caving sessions, and developing practical fire-building skills.
They also took on the high-ropes course, showing real determination and encouragement towards one another, and tested their aim in archery sessions. Alongside this, team-building activities helped pupils strengthen communication, cooperation and leadership skills throughout the week.
It was fantastic to see Year 6 supporting each other, pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones and making the most of every opportunity. The residential provided a fitting last Wrekin Prep residential, filled with challenge, laughter and lasting memories.
A huge well done to all pupils for their enthusiasm and positive attitude, and thank you to the staff who made the trip such a success.
